Hallo! I've got little problem with this application. It works well with two diffrenet bluetooth keyboards, but suddenly... stop working after 50-300 characters. Than I can ude only space, arrows and backspace. When I press "e" it opens g-mail, "l" opens agenda. It happends everytime, when I try to use External Helper Pro. Any suggestions?
Seen this a couple of times when I was still on Android 4.0.3. It seems the input system gets messed up and believes that one of the Windows-keys are always pressed down. For example, normally Windows+G starts Gmail on Android. It doesn't go away unless you restarts the android device.
I've never seen this happen on Android 4.1 or 4.2 and I'm almost certain it stop doing that in Android 4.0.4. I think it's a bug in Android, maybe my app makes it trigger more easily or perhaps it happens even without my app. Not sure and I have no devices that run an Android version where I can reproduce the problem.
Isn't there an official 4.1 upgrade for the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0? I will likely solve the problem.
can it be the case that I can only save 31 alterations to a keyset? - Whenever I try to save the 32th alteration, I'm losing another one. That's quite annoying - could I get a hint how to manage it - or is it a bug which can be fixed?
Anyways - I love ExtKbdHelper, it makes my android phone three times as useful as without.
Just wanted to say thanks. I can type on an external keyboard in American Dvorak. The inability to do that has been bugging me for a long time.

What's different between demo and pro?
ReplyDeleteIs it possible to use this with a built-in slide out keyboard?
